For Further Viewing...

As many of you know, "Active Stupor Heroes" is a superhero comedy. Superheroes are what this comic strip is all about. Since the subject has been something of a lifelong favorite genre of mine, I can reccommend some films and TV shows you can watch to further delve yourself into this world.

The Good
The Cheesey
  • Batman (1989) - The Dark Knight battles the psyhotic Joker, who killed his parents when he was a child.
  • Spider-Man - Peter Parker gains the powers of a spider just as his uncle dies, then combats his benefactor Norman Osbourne, The Green Goblin.
  • Daredevil - Matt Murdock, blind lawyer from Hell's kitchen, fights the crimeboss known as the Kingpin.
  • Unbreakable - David Dunn's survival of a train wreck catches the attention of Elijah Price, who shows him his true purpose in life.
  • Batman (1966) - Holy cheesey movies, Batman! The dynamic duo must stop Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, and the Joker in their plot to ransom dehydrated world leaders.
  • The Greatest American Hero - Aliens gave an ordinary guy a super-powered costume, but he loses the isntructions.
  • Mystery Men - A group of foul-up heroes must stop a diabolical mastermind when Champion City's own Captain Amazing can't.
  • The Specials - The sixth- or seventh-best super team in the world gets their own toy line, and all hell breaks loose.
  • The Tick - The Tick, Arthur, Captain Liberty, and Batmanuel deal with real life.
  • "Active Stupor Heroes" is hosted by Comic Genesis, a free webhosting and automation service for webcomics.
