For Further Viewing...
As many of you know, "Active Stupor Heroes" is a superhero comedy. Superheroes are what this comic strip is all about. Since the subject has been something of a lifelong favorite genre of mine, I can reccommend some films and TV shows you can watch to further delve yourself into this world.
The Good
The Cheesey
Batman (1989)
- The Dark Knight battles the psyhotic Joker, who killed his parents when he was a child.
Spider-Man
- Peter Parker gains the powers of a spider just as his uncle dies, then combats his benefactor Norman Osbourne, The Green Goblin.
Daredevil
- Matt Murdock, blind lawyer from Hell's kitchen, fights the crimeboss known as the Kingpin.
Unbreakable
- David Dunn's survival of a train wreck catches the attention of Elijah Price, who shows him his true purpose in life.
Batman (1966)
- Holy cheesey movies, Batman! The dynamic duo must stop Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler, and the Joker in their plot to ransom dehydrated world leaders.
The Greatest American Hero
- Aliens gave an ordinary guy a super-powered costume, but he loses the isntructions.
Mystery Men
- A group of foul-up heroes must stop a diabolical mastermind when Champion City's own Captain Amazing can't.
The Specials
- The sixth- or seventh-best super team in the world gets their own toy line, and all hell breaks loose.
The Tick
- The Tick, Arthur, Captain Liberty, and Batmanuel deal with real life.
